The Gamercard Generator now has a multi-lingual UI.

The new UI makes creating a custom Gamercard easy and much more attractive. Not only is it awesome to look at, but it includes multiple languages to allow for comfortable usage from a wider audience. Admittedly it only has 2 languages at the moment, English and Danish (Many, many thanks to Tim for the translation, seriously, he is awesome... I wouldn't know half the php stuff I know now without him...).

Even though it could do with more features and maybe with looking a little nicer, the feedback so far has been pretty good.

So, go ahead and make yourself a Gamercard!

The "Certain User Only" system has been replaced with a new banning system; meaning everyone is free to use the system, unless they get banned. Generating your card is easy, here are a few examples:


{{GAMERTAG}} in all instances should be replaced with your Gamertag, eg. Vexeon.

{{STYLE}} should be replaced with the style of card you want. Currently only 'robo' and 'squares' are available.

Server had a problem with accepting connections because someone decided to leave something doing something...

Everything is running again now including my blog and the Gamercard generator.

Added logging features and fixed some caching issues, none of you will care but I though I might as well post since it took me so long...

Added some random drivers, seems to be fine now...

Was a pretty big pain in the arse though, tbh..

Just made an adaption of the GluttCards system and tbh, it's seriously awesome.

I started off by making a Resource Relay. This relay is located in the resource subdomain, out of the way with other jQuery resources, etc. Once this relay was setup all I have to do from either the Webserver or my localhost is include 'resource_relay.php'. This will include the listings file in the relay folder. Once I have the listings folder I can run a function to get any file I like out of the relay, for example 'get_resource("sig_generator");' would retrieve the class for generating dynamic signatures for use in GluttCards and the new system... my own Gamercard generator.

The new Gamercard generator has a handful of features including ones to allow people trials of the system.

As a registered user of the system, I can just request a card as and when I please using a URL;



However another user, say Darren who isn't a registered user has a few methods of getting his card. One method would be the 'Trial Key' approach. The URL to require his card would be something along the lines of:



Trial Keys all last for 1 day. Although saying that I could quite easily just add him to the user list...

This basically allows me to traffic who's using it and how often. If you want a trial or unlimited access, ask and I'll tell you if you're allowed... :D

The Servers host got hacked earlier this week and we've only just got running again yesterday. We lost data back to the 19th of May but Google (<3) saved my posts that were lost in their RSS Cache, not all's bad. The most unfortunate thing would be the loss of the Community database, not that I was planning on re-uploading the site or anything...

You may also see random words dotted around in square parentheses, stuff like 'FLOAT_CENTER', etc. This is because I'm adding a new system to make posting easier... They'll have gone probably by the end of today.

Although to be fair, not all that much has been going on... Just one Exam left... Science... I've probably failed everything anyhow... If I'm going to make this post half interesting I might as well talk about something, so here goes: Been working on GluttCards for Gluttony and tbh, they are seriously awesome... Basically, when you go on the page you select the card you want and put in your User ID, which most of you people will have no idea what it is, but, whatever. Once you've done that you can go on ahead and click 'Generate' and it will throw you out a nice looking card, something like this:

Overall, pretty nice, No?
